Gearing Up focuses on four teams participating in the “FIRST Robotics” International Competition, and was directed by John King. The teams include: Miss Daisy, seasoned players from Ambler, PA; RoboDoves, a small, all-girl rookie team from Baltimore, MD; Rambotics, a team of teenaged youth incarcerated at the Ridge View correctional facility in Watkins, CO; and Ratchet Rockers, suburban students from Wentzville, MO.
